Traditional GSA Lease Proposal

The traditional lease approach utilized by the GSA typically involves a manual, paper-based process for leasing government office space. In this approach, GSA would issue Requests for Lease Proposals (RLPs) to solicit offers from property owners or lessors for specific space requirements. Interested parties would submit their proposals in response to the RLP, typically through physical documents or mail.  After receiving proposals, GSA would manually review and evaluate each offer based on various criteria such as location, size, suitability, and cost.

Requirement Specific Acquisition Platform (RSAP)

The Requirement Specific Acquisition Platform (RSAP) revolutionizes lease procurement by transitioning GSA's traditional methods to an e-commerce platform. It streamlines the collection and evaluation of offers for specific space requirements, offering a single award lease procurement tool. RSAP enables electronic offer submission, utilizes a streamlined workflow for tailored initial offers, and employs a single Request for Lease Proposals (RLP) for each requirement. This platform positions GSA and Lessors to effectively handle complex space needs electronically.

Automated Advanced Acquisition Platform (AAAP)

The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP) is a multifaceted approach to lease procurement, enabling competition for multiple federal leases through a unified online platform. It simplifies the submission process by allowing the market to present a solitary offer. The AAAP gathers best and final offers for standard office space requirements, storing them securely in a database for the Federal Government fiscal year (October 1 - September 30).
